Abstract

Two ritoizoclonal anibodies-Hnzabs aird Tniirbs-against boar spertitatozon were produced. Tlte
Moizoclottal antibodies were used to imtrrlrnize two grorips of ten gilt attd a tltird, control grorips of
felt gilt was illjected with plzospltate btiffered saliize (PBS). Tlte Conception Rntes(CR) ruere ZOO%,
30% nttd 50% for col~trol, Hmb nild Tinnb respectively. Tlte litter size were 8.4+1.71,5.0+1.0 nitd 5.4
+1.14for t1te control, H~iiab~ ~ tTc~lw abg rolip espectively. Irnnrrtrzizntiorr witlt botlt N~irnbn nd Tinnb
sigitijicaittly redziced CR(P<0.001), tlte redrrctio~l ia CR was sigw$caittly lower tltait tltat prodrrced
byTiilab (PC0.01). Tlte lt1izab and Tiaab significaitt reduced litter size (P~0.001). Tltere tuns no
sign$cnrtf difference in litter sizes in the Hitlab aitd Ttitab treatilteitts (PXl.05). Moitoclotml antibodies
to boar spernz may becoilte candidates for contraceptioit for poprrlation corltrol in Izunlnns.
